ECOMWEL's intense involvement with the campaigns on issues of critical concern sharpens its critical understanding of the issues as well as paves its way for an ever widening networking and linkages with the different networks and forums. Participating in the campaigns is a way of affirming ECOMWEL's commitment towards striving for Social justice and Equality by resisting and raising its voice against the forces responsible for exploitation and marginalization of the vulnerable groups. Using arts and culture as a method of outreach and awareness has proven to a great way of disseminating social messages to a varied cross section of people.

RTI Campaign

The Right To Information awareness campaign is a process of capacitating the marginalised by sharing information towards knowledge applicability. The objective of the campaign is to create awareness on the Right To Information Act 2005 (RTI) adopting street theatre model.

RTE Campaign

Right to Education (RTE) - Every child in the age group of 6-14 years will be provided 8 years of elementary education in an age appropriate classroom in the vicinity of his/her neighbourhood. The RTE campaign is launched to create awareness on the Right To Free and Compulsory Education Act.
